I've played this course a bunch of times since I originally wrote. Sorry for the neglect. Most if not all of the pins are moved to the long positions so the course is going to be at it's most challenging the Fourth of July-ers. I'll probably be on the course tomorrow early. I saw an official document from those trying to market a new disc golf course in Laurie, MO. The proposed course is at the Laurie Fairgrounds and the price to sponsor a tee is $400.00

Feet... And I've seen more Gar this spring than I did all last year. Mostly all around 3 feet but a couple looked a bit larger. One almost took a popper I was using, going for bass. It game to the surface, batted at the lure by swinging it's head like a baseball bat... decided against it and swam off.

April, 30. Just caught 3 bass in about 45 mins. I was using a watermelon-seed lizard and all my hits were within 4 feet of the shore.

Caught a real nice Bass tonight using a black rubber worm, Carolina rig. Same location, about 3' of water.

It doesn't seem like their in post spawn but the water is low so maybe they're just not where I think .

Caught another Large-mouth today. Had quite a few other hits too but couldn't set the hooks. Still using the minnow style popper.

Between the time of this original post and today, 4/18, the crappie fishing has been top notch. Last week I caught about 30 keeper size crappie and quite a few of those were in the 12" range. It has slowed down a bit over the last 2 days. But that's probably just my own experience because I've been mostly targeting bass.
